Contest #01

Welcome to Kyoudai-ai's Inagural Contests! To make things more fair there is a separate Fan-art and Fan-fiction contest. All entries must be received by October 20, 2004 (EST ). I will be judging all entries along with a friend for fan-fiction and if I need help with my husband for fan-art.

Rules for Entry

  1. All entries become the property of me (Rachel) and kyoudai-ai.net and will be shared here.
  2. Entries can be submitted via or snail mail. Please email for my address. I am not resposible for entries lost in the mail.
  3. The subject matter of your entries *MUST* be Fuji brother kyoudai-ai.
  4. Entries must be in English as I regret it is the only language I am fluent in
  5. All Entries must be new fics/art. Or at least ones *I* haven't seen before. *laughs*

Prize

The winner of the fan-art division contest and the winner of the fan-fiction division contest will receive, for free, a doujinshi of *THEIR* choice (within reason).

It will be sent to them for free via first class mail in a padded envelope or air mail in a padded envelope if they live outside the United States.

There are several caveats.
  1. No requesting recent compendiums by famous circles. Doujinshi might be cheaper in Japan but please be reasonable.
  2. If you're requesting doujinshi for a series I don't know, I will need examples of what you want since I do not know the series.
  3. Some PoT pairings that are popular in foreign fandom, as far as I know, do not have any doujinshi. (i.e. Tachibana/Fuji and Fuji/Jiroh)
  4. Some PoT pairings that are popular in foreign fandom do not get a lot of doujinshi. (i.e. Akutsu/Taka and anything Taichi). If you'd still like me to try and find you a doujinshi of one of these pairings I will look, but I can make no guarantees and will ask you for other choices.
  5. If you win, feel free to ask for a specific doujinshi, I will do my best, though I might ask you for several options just in case.
  6. I won't buy hentai because I don't really know where to find it or necessarily who is who.
  7. Feel free to request doujinshi from series other than PoT.
  8. If you just really don't like doujinshi but still want to enter let me know and should you win I'm sure we can come up with a suitable prize.

A Simple FAQ (Cause secretly I like doing these ^^)

Question: I really don't like the Fujis together I think they belong with character A and character B respectively, can I send in an entry with that pairing instead?
Answer: No

Question: So like do they have to be a couple in the fic or fan-art?
Answer: No, but it should be clear that they both have more than brotherly feelings for one another.

Question: We're friends, can I still send in an entry?
Answer: Of course. I can try to be impartial, really I can.

Question: I hate your guts and think you're the Wicked Witch of the West, can I still send in an entry?
Answer: "No good deed goes unpunished.. no act of--" Ooops sorry got a little carried away there. Yes, even if you hate me you can send in an entry. I can try to be impartial, really I can.

Question: I hate this pairing, it's my least favorite pairing in PoT, but I want that prize
Answer: That's nice. It's my favorite and this is my contest so you can either submit an entry anyway or not. It's up to you.

Question: Can I submit more than 1 entry?
Answer: Sure! Go crazy ^^

Question: Wow, this is like a really good prize!
Answer: I'm glad you think so, hopefully this will encourage a lot of really good entries as well.
